Privacy, Disclaimer and Data Collection Policies Effective: March 1, 2006

What We Do
CJC Music Associates and Publishing, as part of their company services, provides retail sales of products, online sign-up of email lists, social media networking, affiliate programs, donations for businesses/ individual events and custom business services, artists development and lessons, music education, web publishing, web design, event planning, fund raising, speaking and consultation services.

Privacy, Information Collection & Use  
CJC collects personally identifying information only during the signup or ordering process. Information is collected in certain portions of CJC affiliate sites in which clients specifically and knowingly provide such information. CJC may use such information for its internal purposes only, including editorial and feedback purposes.
Information submitted at the time of ordering may be used for marketing and promotional purposes and may be shared with companies that have something of value to offer but only with your expressed permission. We limit access to personal information about you to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

For Consumers
When you purchase products, memberships or make a donation, we provide the necessary contact information about you to the event promoter, performer, sponsoring organization, or other involved third party to ensure the successful fulfillment of your request. We also use information to customize our site to better meet your specific needs, and to make ongoing improvements to the design and function of the CJC Music Associates and Publishing sites as a whole.
When you purchase or sign up, you receive an e-mail message confirming the online transaction. We may send e-mail notifications of important information. For these reasons, we require that all our customers have valid e-mail addresses. We may contact you to discuss any registration or payment issues that arise.
We do not license, sell, rent or trade any collected personal information, including contact information or specific information about your transactions or other personally identifiable information unless you request or authorize it or the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you, or otherwise is lawfully permitted or requested.

Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our company.

CJC Music has collected information and warrants that in the event the information is incomplete or inaccurate, hereby disclaims, any liability to any person, organization or entity for any loss or damage caused by error or omissions in our publications whether they result from negligence, accident or any other cause, or from any loss or damage resulting from the use or misuse of any information. CJC Music also warrants that all products sold in connection with affiliate sponsors disclaim any liability of the products offered. CJC Music and all of its protections are under U.S. Copyright Law. No part of our website or music can be reproduced, stored, transmitted or transcribed, translated by any means including electronic, photocopying, recording, or used for any commercial purpose without the written permission of CJC Music. CJC Music might then distribute a licensing agreement for issuance.
